LocalGovCamp was first held in 2009 and LocalGovCamp 2012 helped create LocalGov Digital. In 2014 the event was extended to two days since then and has been organised by LocalGov Digital.

It’s been described as a festival for local government, and over the years has been attended by some of the most innovative and influential people in local government digital.

For the 1st time since its conception, there will be not 1 but 2 LocalGovCamps this year.

The very 1st LocalGovCamp NORTH will be taking place at the Studio Venues in Leeds on April 30th and will be a hybrid of all the different LocalGovCamps that have taken place over that last 11 years.

The areas of focus that will run through the day are as follows:

Culture Change
Service Transformation & New Ways of Working
Technology as an Enabler

The day will consist of the following:

Innovation ShortShares
Interactive Workshops
Unconference Sessions

Who can attend?

Anyone and everyone who is employed in local government – whether it’s part of your job description to create and deliver digital services, you’re working to transform the way things are done in a service area, you’re a senior leader or an elected member your voice and experience is what makes LocalGovCamp so important and useful.

How much is it?

It’s free to attend, you will be fed and watered throughout the day and there will be opportunities to engage with our sponsors and supporters in the small but perfectly formed exhibition.

We just ask you to bring an open mind, the willingness to get involved with the content of the day and where possible, share your experiences

Agenda & Timings will be added to over the next 2 weeks
