In the Digital Age, tenants want to deal with their social housing landlords using the same digital channels that they might use to shop, to book train tickets, to review a film or takeaway and be able to do this 24/7 too.

Digital Channels can also support vulnerable tenants, helping them to order food or medicines or being able to request a service/or see where a particular service request is up to without picking up a phone or having to visit the local social housing office.

The Digital Age can support and empower tenants and social housing providers and we are going to be running a virtual series of event sessions on how this is being done well already by a number of providers.

We recognise the important work you do to supporting those in need of social housing.

We have compiled a short survey which is quick and easy to complete, the data from which will be compiled to create an updated framework of the challenges you face with digital transformation. You will be able to use the report as a benchmark for your team’s progress. We are also planning to run a virtual event in November to also feedback some of the survey findings
