IEG4 enables digital transformation that is simply effective for everyone.

Over the last 14 years, IEG4 has been delivering agile, low-code (sometimes no-code!) projects to provide simpler and easier access to services for citizens, which also provide cost savings to the public sector.  At IEG4 We Do Tricky – bringing legacy silos together to deliver a single view of the council for citizens.

The current crisis has brought home the inherent value, resilience and agility that digital channels provide. The private sector, working with local government and the NHS, has responded with solutions more quickly than would have been thought possible pre-crisis. And how the public and businesses have taken up those services in greater numbers than would have been imagined pre-crisis.

Research from SOCITM and TechMarketView suggests that the gains made in increasing the usage of the digital channel in the last months will continue with a drive to make all services online. As we emerge from lockdown, it’s unlikely citizens will want to interact with councils as they did before. The ‘new normal’ will mean increased use of digital channels, the need for local authorities to respond quickly with new digital services and emphasise the importance of sharing best practice.

Using our own knowledge of digital, building on requests from customers and suggestions from our team, we have solutions that contribute significantly to service delivery and citizen engagement, not only in response to the crisis, but also in preparation for the ‘new approach’ that post-crisis will bring.

In response to Covid -19 and within a month of building a ‘Business Rates Relief Grant’ form , Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk have both received  in excess of 2,000 applications.  The form was built quickly using our no code forms generation package eDesigner.  Both councils have been using our eDesigner solution for a number of years with significant results.
