Food Voucher Process Improvement Session with Tewkesbury Borough Council and Engage Process

For this virtual interactive session, we were joined by Amy Adams, Transformation Programme Manager and Lin Craven, Senior Business Analyst @ Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Transformation Team.

Tewkesbury are innovators when it comes to Process Improvement, having used it to demonstrate and communicate change across the organisation when implementing a new low-code platform across the council.

In this session, Amy & Lin demonstrated the power of mapping out the “As is” & “To Be” of their Food Voucher Service process and using the Cost Benefit Analysis function in the Process Modeller software that they use to show the business case for making the improvements and to communicate the transformational value to stakeholders.

Outcomes from Tewkesbury’s Process Improvement work include:

£1m income for garden waste service
£45k savings removing modules of existing software
92% reduction in time spent generating FOIU reports
50% reduction in missed bins
